Orders placed after 12 PM Eastern Time will be shipped from Lore's Chocolates in Philadelphia on the next business day. Additionally, orders placed after 1 PM on Thursday will be shipped the following Monday. Please note that Lore's does not ship on Fridays, Saturdays, or Sundays to minimize transit time.

Delivery times are estimates provided by our shipping partner, UPS, and are not guaranteed. Please allow 3 to 5 business days for shipping, or longer for large quantity orders.

During the warmer months, typically May through August, the weather can be excessively hot and somewhat unpredictable. To ensure the highest quality of our products, we suspend shipping during this period. Shipping normally resumes in September.

At this time, we are not able to ship due to the weather.

Chocolate Care

To ensure product quality, please keep chocolates stored in a cool place, optimally between 65˚- 68˚F.

Try to avoid extreme temperature swings to keep your Lore’s chocolate tasting its absolute best. Too warm, and the chocolate can melt. Too cold, and the chocolate will bloom, leaving the surface texture slightly powdery and off-colored. Chocolates also easily absorb moisture. For these reasons, we don't recommend refrigeration.

If this happens, however, don’t worry—your chocolate is still perfectly fine to eat. It’ll just look different and may feel less silky as it melts in your mouth.

Accessibility

Our historically certified retail store is located one block from the Liberty Bell. 

Accessing Lore’s Chocolate Shop involves a few stairs.  If stairs are difficult for you, we encourage you to place your order by phone or online for our convenient curbside pick-up service. Upon your arrival, simply give us a call at 215-627-3233, xt 4, and we'll be more than happy to bring your order out to you curbside.
